Romans and Galatians with Dan Haas
In Romans and Galatians, Paul takes a direct aim at the doctrine of Salvation. This course is going to take a Biblical theology approach. In taking this approach, the class will be studying the Biblical text directly, drawing meaning from the text itself and from correlating scripture passages. I have two goals for the students in the class. First, that you gain a working knowledge of the very precise terms that the Apostle Paul uses to describe our salvation in Jesus Christ. Second, that by understanding these terms you will gain a deeper appreciation of the depth, breadth, cost, and majesty of the actions of Jesus Christ in accomplishing our salvation. That you will declare, “Our God is an awesome God!”
